Empowering people of all ages, to lead their own health journeys through integrative, evidence-based care.
About Dr. Christy
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in women’s health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, orthopedics, and integrative lifestyle medicine. I earned my Master’s in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and my Doctorate from Simmons College. Over the course of my 20+ year career, I’ve worked across a wide range of specialties—spinal cord injury rehab, pediatrics, geriatrics, traumatic brain injury, and sports medicine—each shaping how I approach healing today. Ive had the honor of working and learning alongside midwifes and TCM doctors in China, where I learned to blend Eastern with western approaches to medicine.
Currently, I see patients in my Ridgefield, CT-based home studio, as well as on-site at homes or workplaces. I offer 1:1 sessions, group classes, and workshops, blending medical therapeutic yoga, strength training, and lifestyle-based rehab to help patients restore function and feel their best.
My Mission
My mission is to empower people to lead their health journeys through integrative, evidence-based care in physical therapy, therapeutic yoga, and lifestyle medicine. I am dedicated to helping individuals build strength, balance, and resilience for lifelong wellness. Through personalized care, education, and a commitment to accessible healing, I strive to show others that lasting wellness begins with understanding, mindfulness, and agency.
My Philosophy
I believe in healing that goes beyond symptom relief. Whether you’re facing chronic pelvic pain, recovering from a sports injury, navigating postpartum changes, or managing the effects of menopause—you deserve care that treats the root, honors your story, and gives you tools to take charge of your healing.
My personal experiences—from my own postpartum recovery to helping my mother, sisters, and many others through complicated births, post-surgical recovery, and emotional transitions—have shaped my understanding that every individual needs something unique.
My approach blends mindfulness, a consistent home program, and integrative tools that promote healing for both body and mind.
Why I Do This
Every person has an “ism,” an “itis” or a block—whether it’s pain, tension, fatigue, or simply the sense that something’s off. I’m here to help you name it, understand it, and move through it with purpose, patience, and proven care strategies.
If I can help one more person reconnect to their body and reclaim their sense of wellness, I know I’m doing the work I was meant to do.
et’s Begin
Whether you’re recovering, rebuilding, or ready to thrive, I’d love to walk this journey with you.
